Thank for posting and thanks for the kind words. I did a few of these with similar images, overlays, etc. The picture over the top is from a "How To Waltz" book that I found at a thrift store. The yearbook came from some school in Maryland, from 1974. Maybe some more of these will surface?

Thanks for posting, Bifidus. I think this is a really notable piece by Jon. Scrounging for collage materials, I'm coming across these old yearbooks too. They have tremendous potential, and Jon has really brought it to the surface in this piece. You have the repetition of images, you have "ordinary" people and the photos haven't been processed through the media. The overlays are wonderful. The red notations too. Great!
