A wonderful assortment of oddments and delights exploded out of a re-purposed envelope from (and originally to) the Introverted Post.

The following message of explanation was enclosed.…

Nominated for mail art sainthood due to mailing twice when mail man returned the first time.

Received last week from the Netherlands a little bird sings in a very sweet blue world.  Lovely envelope that just called out to be opened!

Mail came through from South Africa last week.  Thank you!

(I don't think I have posted this as received but forgive me if it is a repeat, I am performing archeological work on my workspace).  This card and ATC were so lovely I posted them on my board for a time.

Mail from Lithuania got through.  (Address change noted).  Just a sampling of the goodness as I couldn't fit it all on camera (or on my messy table). 

Mail Arrived!

A great haul of varied ATC's arrived in recent weeks.  Thanks so much Mr. No Idea.  My ATC book filled half a page with these beauties.

A bonanza of Bonnie-ness arrived with a mini journal of information about Bonnie's practice.... who knew about the days of clowning and making suggestive X rated balloon hats for adults?

I just bought and brought back to running condition this 1901-1905 vintage No. 27 Singer Treadle machine with the Sphinx decals in fair shape and look forward to using it in mixed media and fabric art creations.…

A postcard of interesting random scraps from the art table of Robin Jeree.  It's a bit like archaeology thinking about the projects that led to these bits and pieces. 

Well I'll be darned, a translucent postcard!  This beauty came in the mail last week with a note from Heide.  Many thanks for this creative use of a piece of acrylic sheeting!

A wonderful explosion erupted from Lithuania on my table this week. 

Received last week a generous "get acquainted" pack from Cherub Ayers with background on her arts practice and family, a lovely bookmark and some charming tiny art. 

Received this week from Pam McVay, a super ZIA bird.

What a flight of fancy!
