"Artefact": a special gift from Gabriel Xiloj of the Netherlands

This arrived three weeks ago and knocked my socks off: Gabriel sent me this because a couple of months ago I admired some photos he'd put up that played with the alphabet and signs and symbols. Thom Courcelle's packet of goodies

Opening Thom's envelope was a bit like opening a CARE package, filled with uplifting and unexpected things. First, there was Thom's envelope itself, painted beautifully in watercolor:
