I'm curious about the process and materials in this card.  I'm guessing stamps and stencil but the red feels embossed.  Embossing powder?  Gelatos?  Neat!  Thank you, Amy!

Packed in an (almost) impenetrable super tape sealed envelope.

Bonnie informs me she wore big hats in the 80's.  I always wear big hats because they fit my big head.

An augmented vintage magazine page, a poem, a picture of assorted false teeth with a personal note all tied up with embroidery yarn.  An explosion of mystery and goodness. 

I received this Add and Pass a couple of days ago and after some deliberation decided my contribution would be an arch to unify the meditating woman with the fruit and the mischief-making.  She looked bored and possibly hungry. …

When inspiration is lacking and time is limited, I like to do a little pre-art.  Right now I am creating a bit of a library of elements painted and drawn on tissue paper.

Driving with fat bugs splatting on the windscreen and roadkill on the side of the road inspired this sent travel postcard. "Nature Red"   Wrapping paper (tissue) from a Quebec city florist supplied the bug and some other elements in this card and series that I did travelling by car from Toronto to Prince Edward Island last summer.…

I like to create mail art as I travel from collected tourist brochures, maps, store bags and wrapping paper.  Sometimes as I assemble the pieces, perceptions about the travel emerges. 

In creating this sent postcard I was struck by all the "Just Like Home" advertisements about hotels and restaurants.  Why do we travel and then want things to be like home?…
