Eine Mailart-Aktion von Hans Braumüller mit 177 teilnehmenden Künstlern aus 34 Ländern.

Seit über 30 Jahren gehört der Hamburger Künstler Hans Braumüller zur Szene der visuellen Poesie und Mail Art. An seinen Aktionen beteiligen sich regelmäßig viele wichtige Mailart-Künstler aus der ganzen Welt. So auch diesmal. Unter dem Titel "Artist Matter: Think global - Act Local" hat Hans Braumüller Künstlerinnen und Künstler aufgerufen, an dem Projekt teilzunehmen. 177 Künstler schickten ihm per Post Hunderte von Beiträgen.

Why is this comunity closed to non members?

Hi,

why is a membership required to read our post or mail art comunication?

Is this not a contradiction of our rules of no selection and everbody can participate?

I understand that a membership is required to have here an space and to avoid spam politics that other platforms of our mail art forums like messageboards, lists or yahoo groups are often victims, but reading and looking around what is happen here?

A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,

a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,

Collective book of mail art.

Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

Send 100 copies of a documentation of a performance, instruction, manifesto, journey work, etc which you have conceived as a Field Study action and accordingly signed:

‘Field Study Emanation by… + artist’s name’

Copies have to be flat and landscape format. Size (A5) 21cm x 14.8cms. Please leave 2cms on the left hand side for the binding. All emanations will be bound and a copy of the report sent to all participants.

EXPRESIÓN MULTIMEDIA:

Será admitida en CD ó DVD lista para su presentación incluyendo la ficha técnica y la lista de las fuentes sonoras, las fotografías, la música utilizada y el nombre de su autor.

FORMATO DE AUDIO:
El formato de audio admitido será:

Wave 44,100 Hz 16 bit Stereo.
Mp3 desde 96 hasta 320 KPSS.
Si la expresión es sonora, cuide la fidelidad de su grabación.
