"I have trouble understanding your text, but I am extremely interested in everything related to music. I assume music falls under the term "audio," so I will participate, at least as an observer or a student....😊"
"Cool, I'll create the group later today. Three people is already a good starting point, I guess :)"

A group for "Audio-Mail-Art" enthusiasts
Well, I'm a bit of newbie among you people, and maybe I haven't searched properly on this website, but I've been looking for any group here dedicated to audio-art within mail-art and couldn't find any (only comments and posts reffering to specific projects here and there, most of them by the luminary Rod Summers), which is kind of strange because much of what is called sound-art has its origins in the experiments with spoken word/recorded sound by mail-artists during the 1970's and 1980's. …See More

- Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
- I'm a visual arts and music student researching audio-works by mail artists Lenir de Miranda, Klaus Groh, Raffaele Cuomo and José Vandenbroucke kept at the phonographic archive of the Federal University of Pelotas (Pelotas, RS - Brasil). I've decided to join this community so maybe I can find more information about sound practices within mail art. If you're aware of any bibliography on the subject, or if you have copies of sound works by these artists (even letters by them) I'd love talking to you. Any help is of great value :)
