Hello Fernand,

Glad to hear you are well and still mailing art. I'm back to making stamps again

and recently archived a bunch of correspondences from you, Gerard and Claudine.

BTW. I could swear I saw Gerard in front of Wall Street with the Occupy Wall St.

Crowd...saw it on national news....looked just like him. Is he ok and still making sculptures? Hope to hear from you again. I'm at PO Box 151, Hancock, NH 03449.

Yeh, I like snail mail too.

Cheers,

Cracker

The show HR did was fantastic. A pitty I couldn't see it myself. His previous exhibition we did visit in Switzerland last year. Worth the travel for sure.

Personal Mail-Art Invitation:
MOMA = Museum of Mail Art
Letter Envelope and Artistamps

Dear Networker, dear Fernand

On the 18th of September 2011 the Art Museum of the Canton of Thurgau in Switzerland will have an Opening for the exhibition "Conquer the Living Rooms of the World." This is a retrospective of my artistic activities from almost the last 40 years.

One section of the exhibition is dedicated to my activity in the world-wide Mail Art Network. I am inviting you to send me one of your typical creatively altered letter envelopes and one of your sheets of stamps. The deadline is the 10th of September. Your contribution will be integrated into the exhibition and will become a part of the museum's collection.

This personal invitation is being extended to around 60 of my "old" Mail Art partners with whom I am currently still in contact with through Facebook.

I look forward to your contribution!

Yours,
H.R.Fricker

Mail of the Living Dead is currently in the process of creating a
"Zombie Encyclopedia" using add & pass as a medium.
i've stuffed around 20 enveloped with blank pages and some
zombie literature to send out into the mail art world to be
passed around to 12 people then returned, and compiled
into a larger book, The Mail of the Living Dead Encyclopedia!

Michel Hosszu, haven't heard from him for years. He used to make the beatifull artistamps, but somehow vanished from the network as I know it now.

Don't worry about e-mails and things like that. Communication goes in many ways.

with best wishes,

Ruud Janssen
