Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I love the idea that strangers can exchange art works. I'm thrilled with anticipation by not knowing what might come through my letter box. I have lots of scraps from printmaking just waiting for their moment!

Hi Carol--That's a lovely print in your photo stream. Thanks for the detergent tip. I've used it in block printing inks, but found that glycerin and a few drops of water worked best. However, the detergent can give interesting effects. I've checked the Golden website and found  that Golden's Acrylic Glaze medium has a drying time of 30 minutes and that Golden's Soft gel dries in 5-30 minutes. So my next studio foray will be to try some acrylic drying experiments.
