You see here one of my original handmade "Fußstuhl" - a wooden upcycled chair over and over patched with old real stamps from around the world. And here is the story:
From A for Argentina to U for the USA, with countries like Belgium, China, France, Austria, Poland, Turkey, and many more in between, these international stamps have given this beautifully designed upholstered chair a new lease on life. A magnificent chair that—thanks to the new velvety blue and beige striped upholstery of the original spring frame—combines seating comfort with creativity. The stamps, alphabetically sorted by country, are all genuinely used and carry countless stories. They once adorned love letters, holiday greetings, invitations, congratulations, business correspondence, Christmas greetings… from all corners of the world and are now united in a multicultural collage on this lovely piece of furniture.
