Localisation du prélèvement : Latitude : 43° 0’ 3.13’’ N / Longitude : 9° 15’ 31.91’’ W
Sable collecté par Jean-François Aillet, sculpteur, sur la plage de Lires, en passant le Rio de Lires à marée basse, à mi-chemin entre Fisterra et Muxia, à l’issue de 3200 km parcourus à pied en 166 jours avec 25 kg de matériel sur les épaules depuis le Mont-Saint-Michel jusqu’à Santiago de Compostela (Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle) en passant par la côte, province de A Coruna (La Corogne), Galice, Espagne, Europe du Sud, océan Atlantique, pour le projet «Le Solitaire... des marées». http://www.aillet.com/traductions/anglais.htm
