I was recently at a philately lecture about stamps bearing Queen Elizabeth's head, when to my surprise, up came my stamp sheet ‘Night Mail’. Great, but, the lecturer had it the wrong way round, that is, landscape - with the Queen's head the ‘right’ way up, rather than portrait as I had intended. I was of course immedtately tempted to inform the lecturer regarding the mistake but didn’t want to embarrass him in public. We settled the matter after the lecture, but he took some convincing!
