Yes I sort of guessed it would be something like that.

I'm up in Iceland at the moment, a different symbolism!

Ce ne sont pas des serrures mais plus exactement des cadenas ; on appelle ça " cadenas d'amour"  Les amoureux unissent leur coeurs avec ce symbole.

I think these were hanging on a bridge near Arsenal, I have also found them on Morano

Bonjour Annick.  I have photographed several of these groups of locks in various places in Venice, so much so that now I look out for them when I am wandering about the beautiful city. I will be doing that again when I go back to Venice in October, I have no idea of the significance because, surely, there must be one, they have obviously been there for some time.  Do you know what they mean?
