yep, those are smashed tubes of UHU...no mail artist's junk drawer on this side of the Big Pond, Bifidus, could be without UHU! Did you notice that I have a tape measure in inches and another one in centimeters? Out of necessity for mail art calls that asked for 4 x 6 cards or 5.5 x 8.5 format...duh.

I'll ask for a toolbox for Christmas, I can't find anything in my drawer any more, such a mess.

Yes, MariaF, that is one of the Bukhara carpets...mine is a "bargain" from the Covered Bazaar in Istanbul..warm in color and warm wool for the feet in winter! My drawer is also my treasure-chest and a tote bag gets filled when I travel. I live in a one-room studio apartment, so things must be down-sized!

and i have almost the same carpet at home =))))) my "junk drawer" fills several boxes and i keep them whereever i am going to make stuff =)))

That's a great site! Did you see Erni Bar's junk drawer? It is so Prussian! Everything is aligned at 90 degree angles.
