Thanks Lisa,

The Red Sea is indeed very inspiring and has been the source of many of my art projects. My husband and our eldest son (nearly 17 y.o) SCUBA dive and our younger son (14y.o) &  I snorkel. The fish ,algae and corals are awesome, I have designed numerous jewellery collections around that theme and would be very happy to send you some photos to share with you. The Sinai series is an ongoing project that I started a number of years ago and it encompasses everything from painting, collage, mail art to paper weaving and mixed media. I hope you'll be able to visit someday. I myself am not Egyptian but my husband is and we set up home here 10 years ago because of his professional appointment. I on the other hand am a Medical Doctor by profession and a self-taught artist by love, I have been "making" art for as long as I remember, I cannot explain why it is but I have to keep creating it is fundamental to my sanity and mental and intellectual well-being! The sea and the desert play important parts of our lives as you can probably gather from the background behind me in the photo.

I look forward to sharing many more artistic delights with you all.
