Yes Margate is on the SE coast of England, about 70 miles from London.

So if the cruise ship was Britrish, too, then she could be my grandmother!

(She asked me to ask you if you have properly acquired her image rights? I told her probably not, as this is Mail Art. Then she said I hope that this Borderline person sends me a postcard. So what could I say?)

Comment by borderlinegrafix on October 4, 2013 at 10:23pm: VMH - both images are from the US Library of Congress, the lady from a b&w photo portrait of people posing on a cruise ship, probably 1920 or so. The color image is a postcard and the location is the promenade at Margate. That's the UK, right? Think so.
