:-))) like that, yes
Like the Forest of Knottingham? Wassn't that Robin Hood or something?
It's Knot a straight line, for sure...
Ah, and Marie, I think a friend of yours managed to get a Minxus-Fluxus-Minnesota stamp into Braincell. I'd like to think I dreamed it, but I'm fairly sure it's real. You think I won't notice these things? That's your cross to bear, but it's anit-Minxus. Like I said, back in the day w. Macunias, there would be a public expulsion.
Thanks Alicia, I will look into that book. Either all the efforts here distracted me or I just plain missed it.
Yes, when you think about trying to apply traditional poetics to visual poetry, it's mind-boggling. And visual poety has definitely moved into the academic arena. I'm trying to stay away from that one.
Marie, I also really like those bird images you are using - and really it looks like you are using knots (?) in your line. As always, really clever. You even manage all sorts of wordplay - works as asemics as well for sure.
Ohh, ye olde filter. Was wondering about that. Definitely adds to the piece.
Thank you genki people. I'm glad you like it (I secretly like it too) :-)) there might be one or two more coming up in the Line series, let's see how inspiration goes. I love working with definitions. The word LIne seems to have endless tones to it.
knotted beauty Marie.
DeVillo, just saw the book Transcript by Heimrad Backer, concrete and visual poetry. Powerful and chilling.
Marie, this could be my favorite ever. I never told you I spent a chunk of my youth locked away in graduate school studying postmodern poetics - which leads to an exploration of the line in poetry going back to human origins. It would require many lifetimes, as it turns out.
thank you!! glad you like....
