Hi Cheryl! This cat discussion is one of the post interesting that i'm tuned into at the moment. Alas, i've received nothing from you yet -- but the post here is a disaster these days, with lots of strikes going on -- but when i do I'll let you know. Regards to you and your cat, Val

Bonjour!
Bianca (to refresh your memory my half-Persian cat) says that if Cheryl thinks her cat is a cat then it is a cat.
Trouble (my mostly Siamese cat) says if Cheryl's cat thinks it is a cat then it is a cat.
Simple really.
Au revoir, Val

"Chinchillas are a variety of the Persian cat. The Chinchilla is classed as a "silver" cat. Chinchillas of today have a quiet, gentle nature and would suitable for anyone with the exception of small children..." http://www.catsofaustralia.com/chinchilla-cat-description.htm

Now all of you!!! Google Chinchilla cats!!!! The are a sub-set of the Persian family - you had me doubting my poor little Jelly Bean - I was CONVINCED she was a cat and was nearly persuaded she was a rodent masquerading as a cat by you lot!!!

Bonjour! One of my cat's, Bianca, is a half-Persian very long-haired mog, and looks like a black version of Cheryl's cat. My other cat, trouble, is (mostly) Siamese, and he does not bother much with his long-haired cousins. And, sadly, I don't have much hair these days, but anyway, miaou and regards, Val
