Thanks for all the apreciation you have done of this work. What really moved me was the persona of this sultan of XV century and how i could make a backdrop using modern art resembling the otoman empire colors and design.  is one of my favorites so far.

Wow. This arrested me and I've been enjoying just sitting here contemplating and discovering its nuances. It took me a while to realize that the background weaving pattern was actually letters (words?), and I love how it appears that they fold over one another in places creating more complexities (which is how language or good literature often work, too). This piece could be represented in the Asemic writing group submissions, it seems, for that very reason. You have also found patterns in the more forefront collage that mimic and play against -- or at least compliment -- the background weave pattern in pleasing ways. Overall very well balanced. And frankly, I love the character who is represented in this mini-portrait. How wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
