Thanks Pam. I had set aside the background image for use in the Blue Roads group because it was... errrm... a blue road image. Then as I was sorting things a vintage fashion image I was going to use in my "Paper Dolls" series fell in front and I realized it just was right on scale and might work so I cut her out to try and it was like she was made to stand in that road.
