Comment by Ian C Dengler on June 21, 2013 at 9:08pm: I try for every possible theme--mineral, 'vegetablers', general spirit. I have a gender perspective, probably, but I'm not really sure what a male likes for ratios in the visual world. I rarely work from a pre-set theme: what happens is a Rorschach test of whatever the pixel-blobs come up with.

Comment by Ian C Dengler on June 21, 2013 at 6:09pm: about 10% of my stamp themes are medical; sometimes I put them under Illinois Post, since "medical" includes political medicine of all sorts. Here I have the same thing in mind: governments provide rights, at least to those who succeed in making it to perhaps 10, maybe only 25. Oldsters have most of the rights, and that seems to satisfy them.
