Suggestion: collage a birdy or two onto some famous works of art eg a Renoir self portrait with a robin.

Carduelis spinus - the Siskin is in the Finches family. I'd never heard of it either. Soon I'll have to brace myself for the tricky last few letters of the alphabet...

This Birdy baffled me, as I had never heard of a siskin. (I suppose it has a brotherkin or two).

So I asked Mr Wicked Pee Dia if he could help and found this little lot -- which has really left me none the wiser:

Serinus
