So the story goes like this: One rainy Paris morning I set off to the swimming pool as I do most days at 7:00 am. As it was raining and I do not carry an umbrella to go to the swimming pool, (what’s the point, my hair is going to get wet anyway!) I started to run. I crossed the first street and heard a big crash behind me. I turned to look and a man with a big motor bike was sliding across the ground and then crashed into a parked car. A crowd gathered and the motor bike man got up off the ground and seemed unharmed. I went on my way to the pool. When I returned I found that everything had been cleaned up except for this rear view mirror. I picked it up thinking that this would someday be useful, which it never was until now.
Looking back, I think; What if it had not been raining? What if I had not started running? What if I had left 20 seconds earlier?
Well one never knows what will happen next.
May the luck of Mail Art be with you.
