165 people? Wow, I didn't think there were that many. That's almost enough for a decent party. I thought there were only about 60. Have you been getting my mailings? Think I sent a couple to you in June.

  • Erin Young

Ok. Just checking. No worries about the time. I appricate the time you're taking to make these. :)
  • De Villo Sloan

I know, Rick. It took forever. I still have piles of stuff from two years ago I think in my deluded mind I will get to. Here it is. I will re-post at IUOMA soon. Needless to say, thanks.

    >Are the Japanese characters correct on the air mail stamps I sent???? BF aka Rick

I need to check if it is but I think it is not common use now.

Normally it is written as 日本郵便 (Japan postal) on the stamps.

I see they were Kamikaze (suicide attack air force).... (>_<)

  • Erin Young

OMG! Just received the stamps in the mail today! Oh wow! Yes definitely worth the wait! Thank you so much!! :) I love it :) I will be putting something in the mail for you tomorrow. Registered mail most likely! Thank you again!

Hiya from the bottom of the world, BF!!! I got a card from you, yes, and I know it's my turn to write! I've been busy making stuff for an xhibition, but that's over now so I'll get a package to you shortly...It'd be good to collaborate on something again, if you're up for it. Cheers.

  • William M

Thanks, got a cop postcard from you on Friday! Hey, I was just thinking today if the Bonehead image could be made into a rubber stamp if it was contrasted more..? I would luuurve a bony stamp like that.

What's this about you moving to a tiny town? Hahaha! And you've been laughing at my underpopulated little hamlet for years! Well, good for you, hot springs sounds like a good move!

  • vizma bruns

What is Bonehead??!!! The Twisted stamp!!

  • William M

the stamps you made me arrived a few days ago. thanks so much! the first time i've had my own perforated stamps and i love them!

  • vizma bruns

It's full of blue ink, it just doesn't want to pump it out! Did I send you the same sheet that I sent to Jay? (on his blog?)

How am I for stamps? You mean rubber? What did you think of the bonehead idea? (a few comments down) I'm ALWAYS up for new stamps, but you knew that.

  • William M

mail is planned back. i thought you were moving. is the address on your profile valid?

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Looks like I sent something to your old address.  Sorry about that.  Does you mail get forwarded?  dean

  • vizma bruns

Yes, always to stamps my dear! Even f@cked up ones. And spares, screw ups. (I always get really "savey" when I'm down to the last sheet!) I'll work on the Bonehead and maybe I'll TWIST your arm into liking the idea. Cheers!

  • William M

ok. cool. then i'll have something in the mail back to you tomorrow!

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

You would be surprised how I get around.  Did you find the tunnel that goes to Mexico yet?  It's in the old spa but likely closed up now after the raid.

But my real question is, is your mail being forwarded to your new address?

PS: I always thought the trains should be turned into a night club.  Just an idea if you get bored.

  • vizma bruns

I have no idea what they have, so anything you think would suit...something funny! Or stupid. Thanks. xx  (someone needs to write a song about Jacumba.)

  • William M

glad they arrived. i'll look forward to more mail! :)

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Darn, I liked that one.  I guess we can always blog it in Lost Mail Art group.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Somehow I just knew you would.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Yes, Well we kind of  exchanged before.  I sent you five pieces of Mail Art and you sent me one.  But who's counting?  Yours cost $1.10 to send while mine cost 3.16 euros to send.  Does money really matter?  Yours was crap while all of mine were brilliant.  Who really likes opinions or Art critics?

As so famous Mail Artist once said; "It's free so stop complaining."  I love that quote.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

looking forward to the double jointed Mail Art.  Proof that you can kill two birds with one stamp.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

    Thank you in advance.  That reminds me of a song;

Someone sending Lord, Jacumba, Someone sending Lord, Jacumba,  Someone sending Lord, Jacumba, Oh lord, Jacumba.

Now I know why you move there!   Looking forward to the landing.

  • Jay Block

Dear Father, of course... salvation in a bottle is not just bourbon but a certificate of 'get out of hell free'. Many thanks

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

    Hello Blessed,

Yes, your piece arrived on 30 Dec. It was right on time for the New Years, but I wasn't in Paris to received it.  However I do have an elf who stamps the date on everything received so I know when it arrived.

I will be blogging it soon.  Some great stuff in there.  The certificate is already in use!

Best Wishes for a creative 2016.

    Dean

  • FinnBadger

    Thanks, looking forward to it.

  • FinnBadger

    Great, thanks for the tip.

  • vizma bruns

Hellz yeah!! New rubber and stamps for me!? You still have access to the perfing and rubber shop, or have you found a new place in Jacumba? Great to hear that I'll be getting a hearty dose of Blessed mail to start the year. Yes, please load it up with crap! And crappily perfed stamp mistakes, too, I can use all that shit. I mean art. Thanks!! Humbly yours, Viz.

Hiya Rick! Just got your mail the other day, beautiful, beautiful artiststamps! Even though I've seen them before, I'm always stoked that you make them and send them to me, I love them, thanks again, mate!

  • vizma bruns

A matrix master something,... I no kapish. Sending me crap soon... that I understand! You've got me intrigued about this vintage BF unseen rubber, too...excellent.

  • Nadia Aroca

It was a postcard, "Heavenly condoms, etc.".

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Thanks for your message.  They always come at the bottom and I don't always see them.  Happy it arrived.  Boy is that one strange.

  • Petrolpetal

    Mail out!
  • vizma bruns

Glad you got the wacky mail, Father! You don't have to mount the stamps if you have other important work to do in the community...Sister Viz can do them herself, anything to help the cause. Whatever that is...rubber cause? That suits me. Cheers.
