Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Mail-Art is a most amazing way to democratize art, activism, subversion, and networks.
As a cultural anthropologist working with postcards in times of upheaval, mail-art immediately caught my eye. It's fun, it's serious, it's punk, it's mundane, it's a beautifully open network, it's the misfit child of the bourgeois art scene.

Postal forecast: A rant on mailart is closing in on Berlin from the West.

Expectations are that it will reach the area in several days ;p

P.s. Since you are interested in postcards in times of political upheaval, maybe you will like these https://www.vredesmuseum.nl/winkel/wens.php This is the website of the Dutch Friedensmuseum (as you would call it in german), the cards are all related to protests for peace, nuclear disarmament etc. They range from cards from the eighties up to 2024 and you can order some of them if you like, or just look at them offcourse...
