Oh, Boo, my mother went to college in Louisville about seventy or more years ago.  I have never been there but it has a special place in my heart.  Has it been your home all along.  Mother was from macon, GA.

  • Brian Van Voorst

Hey Boo!   I loved your mail art.   Our family also loves tootsie rolls, so it was fitting.  Cold up here in Northern Indiana today.   My daughter and I sent a special piece of art your way this morning!!! Hope you like it!!

Lake Erie Islands.  Sorry to report that I did not know of such.  Down in GA, we didn't hear of that.  It must have been very cold and windy??

  • Martha W. Bush

Oh, my gosh.  The South must seem like heaven.  I love that southern weather and miss it terribly, especially between winter and summer, the night air anytime except during a hot spell.  Thanks for sharing, Boo.  And say a prayer of whatever sort for my then young not-yet mother who was there is Louisville, all the way from Macon Ga in 1937--a pioneering spirit trying to make her way in the world.  Lake Erie Islands.  Now that takes strong!

  • Martha W. Bush

Inspiring story of your family, Boo.  Thanks for sharing it with me.  Loving mother, you have and still have.  Good for you both.  M

Oh my the #929 which had the train and the guy looking over it! The address part was on paper that I thought had been glued completely on the back side (cause it was a cracker or cereal box, right? I can't believe it. Now I have to be sure to also TAPE it on. Glad it made it.

Hi Mary Jo Cartledgehayes.  Thank you for welcoming me.  I am slowly figuring out how to find what I am looking for.  This site has grown considerably in the past few years.  I hope our art gallery receives responses to our quest.  I find I need to note the date requests are posted to get back to them to respond.

  • Eunice Blazek

Hi Mary Jo Cartledghayes,  I am entering entries to our "Weather" project on my page.  Is there another way to do this?  Do the entrants know I am acknowledging them?  Thank you.  Eunice Blazek
