Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I love the idea of making something and immediately sending it away to someone, for free, for fun. I usually take a day or less to make my cards and it suits my short attention span. It's very gratifying to hear that someone was both surprised and pleased by their small gift. I also like the occasional collaboration with other mail artists.

    OMG Thank You for the compliments and McAwesome, thoroughly documented blog! You and res have this amazing talent for making a Gnome feel good about sending you trash.
    Did I mention in there anywhere that the alien boekie glows in the dark? Well, part of it does, not the whole thing. Prolly alien cross contamination or something. Stranger things have happened.
    Those artists are from Spain I think, where the movie Planet 51 was produced. I have a book on the art of that movie.
    Right now I'm closer to Area 51 than I usually am in real life, AZ. No sightings, despite boekie publication. I don't think I'm the Gnome theyre looking for. Location means I'm writing to you from my IPad, which does not allow me to send a msg on this website for some reason, so sorry for this long, email like comment.
