It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.
If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.
Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France, and I PROMISE to send you something back.
Thyat was a very pretty prancing horse tat ytou sent me: bedankt. I do like the music score and the golden writing. Plus I got some Rijksmuseum stamps, lucky me! I visited the Museum in May, but didn't wee any of your works there -- I'm sure they'll be indtalled later.
Leena, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on June 13 I was unable to welcome you on board. At the time I was in a celestial journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to start trading snail mail art. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:
The Celestial Scribe
Terrene Embassy
The Celestial Republik van Patland
Caixa Postal 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil
II look forward to see a piece of yours in my terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland official envelope provider.
Glad you received it. I get a bit nervous wondering if/when my pieces will arrive at their destinations, but I suppose it's part of mail art to send and not know where the piece will end up.

Goede morgen Leena,

Hi Leena,
I had a look at your website and I absolutely loved your watercolour "birds and blossoms" series. They are really beautiful!
I hope we can exchange mail art.

I received your mail art today, thank you!
I loved the drawing of the bird - his position over the backing paper made him look like he was singing in the light of the full moon.
I will send something back to you very soon.
