So glad to know that it arrived and that you've enjoyed it. One can never have too many pale kid gloves.
  • Jen Staggs

I'm so enjoying your art!  I love the use of vintage ephemera.
  • Louise Kiner

    Thanks. I'll send you one.

I like your work, nice use of vintage images. Very funky!

  • Jen Staggs

I got your wonderful card today!  I will post it soon, thank you!  We vintage gals need to stick together!
  • Gail Anderson

Received your card today - Thank You!  Talk about perfect timing - I pulled your card out of my mailbox right after I came home from a root canal at the dentist!  Yes, I will "have a cafe mocha, vodka, valium latte to go please"! It would make me feel better than the prescription the dentist gave me!!! - Gail Anderson

  • jon foster

Got your card in the mail today-thanks so much.
  • Jen Staggs

Ooohh!  I got your amazing postcard collection today! Thank You!  I will post it asap. Did you read the cards? They seem to be from kids and they are really funny!
  • Jen Staggs

I am not offended by cute.  I worry about those who are!  I keep returning to the card you made- I love the addition of the feather and the little swatch of fabric.  You've inspired me to get to work!
  • Jen Staggs

I'll scan it and post an image of it asap.
  • jon foster

There's nothing wrong with being organized, completely cool. I look forward to your work.

WOW!  I had the most amazing mail day today! Thank you for the little bits and bobs and the sweet letter!  I will post pics soon.  I'll also keep an eye out for the bizarre and the more steampunky type things I can send you in return.  You Rock!
  • Bruno Cassaglia

Non ha risvolti simbolici particolari... è solo un disegno...

It has no particular symbolic implications ... it's just a drawing.   bruno

  • Jen Staggs

I love the "Screwball Girl" card I got from you today!  It has inspired me to get my desk in order and start creating some great stuff with the pieces you sent me last week.  Thank you!!
  • jon foster

Got the girls in the mail today. Nothing grande is going on here weather wise. I think it's gonna be 54 degrees tomorrow which I assume is a little better than in Kansas. I'm sure it'll be five degrees on Sunday and everyone will get sick. Workin on some stuff and will send out when I finish. Thanks for the fine card.
  • jon foster

I don't really collect anything in particular. Glad you card the card, by the way.

I usually find my images in thrift stores either in magazines or old strange books. I prefer old magazines because the paper is cheaper and easier to rip. The last few things I've taken from newspaper type paper, but you don't always get a great image from the local paper, or at least not anything interesting to look. Thanks for saying hello.

Hi Amazon59! I'm sorry to say that I haven't received anything from you, ever. I can only wonder what I am missing. Try again? My address is 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France.

    Soon as something comes, I'll reply;

    Regards, Val

  • Pamela Gerard

Thanks, Amazon! Just sent out something to you too...
  • Louise Kiner

No worries. Please don't feel pressured. It happens.

  • Jen Staggs

Thank you for the intricate stamp card!  You always find the neatest vintage un-used stamps- I never knew you could use old stamps as valid postage!  Each one is so campy and great!  I hope you had some great BBQ with your friends- Kansas bbq makes my stomach growl just thinking about it.  Artwise,  I've got something special on its way for you too!
  • jon foster

Wow! You must run into some really awesome stuff with your work. All of those pictures you sent were quite impressive, almost perfect. I can thank you enough and if you're interested, I'm always down for some fun vintage pictures. Is there anything that you look for...junk wise? I'll make something out of what you sent and move it towards you soon. Thanks so much.
  • Jen Staggs

Wow!  What a great package- I love all of the pictures and notes- I sit back and make up scenarios about where they are now.  Thank you so much for thinking of me!  I cant wait to use them.  The stamps on the envelope are fascinating too-  it's like a time capsule!
  • Ashazart

Hey Kathleen, thanks so much for your "Tenderfoot in Space" collaged postcard! I love how you mix your images. I think I will need to send you things regularly if this is what happens! ;-)

Got your card in the mail today, and it looked great.  I will send you something out soon. The most exciting thing I have going is that I just finilized a trip to China this week. I get to go and teach for three weeks on the Chinese governments dime, pretty happy about that one. Find any fun stuff through your work, of late?
  • jon foster

I am going to China at the end of June for about three weeks. It's one of those "teach English summer camp things." Not sure how much teaching I'm going to do. It feels like I'm going to be a guy that talks with the students, just conversationally to get them used to the language. I hope to teach them a few "southernisms" to throw a wrench in the whole process.

Don't worry, I'll send cards. Can't wait to see your work.

  • Jen Staggs

Yep!  Bought a house last night!!  I am so excited, we've never owned a house before, being fans of city life.  I'm going to have to learn how to plant things and fix stuff.  Eek!
  • Jen Staggs

It will be quite a change from living in Downtown, but it isn't so country that there are cows next door.  I'm gonna get my own study where I can hang all of my treasured mail art so I'm ready to get packing!
  • Jamee Meyers

Love you art! Would love to exchange! Send something to me and I promise to return the honor! Jamee Meyers 217 Paragon Parkway #135, Clyde NC 28721
  • Laura Robertson

Love Camille in Paris. Why did her parents take her to the continent that summer? Must dig out embossing notes I took that day with you.
  • Jen Staggs

I love the quilt squares you sent me!!  thank you so much!  I'm also always so impressed with the fact that you actually write a letter!  It is appreciated and I can't wait to send something spiffy in return.  Thank you!
  • jon foster

Got your card in the mail today. I love the way you worked in some of your vintage images into the work...I need to try and do this myself. I like the big messes that I make, but I'm trying to be more deceptively simple. Thanks so much.

  • cheryl penn

Thank you for the asemic card - great! - something on the way to you :-)
  • Karen Champlin
