    Angela

Welcome to this unique community of mail artists. Have fun!

Celebrate IUOMA's 25th anniversary! See the Call for Entries on my IOUMA page, or at http://decordisart.blogspot.com/   I would like to receive one of your wonderful pieces of mail art for my exhibition--and I will send you something in return.

PS: My IUOMA avatar is my life mask interpreted as Gaia, Earth Goddess. I used seed pods, snakeskin, feathers, bone animals and semi-precious stones, as well as other decorative items.

    Welcome Angela,

  • Patricio - The Celestial Scribe

Hi Angela, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on January 19th I was unable to say welcome to you, I was in a heavenly trip far beyond the Milky Way. Now I’m back to planet Earth and would love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to send another envelope to IUOMA, the very head office of the Ethernal Network. If it´s the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

    The Celestial Scribe

    Terrene Embassy

    Republik van Patland

    Caixa Postal 24827

    Curitiba-PR

    80510-970

II look forward to see a piece of yours in my terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.

    Hi Angela

Your mail art arrived recently--the first postcard that I've received featuring fabric sewn onto a painted background. Thank you so much--I'll be sending something to you soon.

Now why would someone with a nice name like 'Angela' (immortalised by the Stones in their Mrs Bowie-inspired song 'Angie') want to adopt the monika 'Wolfeagle?

I know: it's none of my business.

But, thank you, Dear Ms Gue for your abstract art card. It did, indeed, brighten my day. I will, indeed send you something back. And I'll put your card in my forthcoming Exhibition.

Bon weekend to you, and all the wolves and eagles?

    Val
