  • De Villo Sloan

Cool! I'm a big Johnny Winters fan too! I didn't know he was in any movies.

  • De Villo Sloan

    Not remotely, no.

  • Patricio - The Celestial Scribe

Blessed, I dispatched a mail art for you on January 2th as I mentioned on the 4th.  The USA-Brazil postal time is different from the within USA and USA/Europe.  Three weeks is nothing to write home about for what I see happening with IUOMA mail which is sent at a cheap rate . Despite the time both, the USA and the brazilian post do their job very well.

  • Carina

Thanks BF, looking forward to your mail! Visited California last summer (San Francisco)...

  • Nadine Wendell-Mojica

I know I would be interested. I don't know what the rules are. I've always wanted one of those 'official' mail artist things. Because I'm insecure and I'd feel legit then.

  • DKeys

wrote this comment in the wrong place. Wow Wow Wow!! You would do that? here is the gist ever thankful

  • vizma bruns

Not many people know of the time-reversing properties of octopus juices. I discovered it by accident when it dripped down my face and I miraculously looked 20 years younger!!

  • vizma bruns

You obviously have a fabulous sense of humour too, BF!!? Thanks...nice to hear!!

  • DKeys

    Holy Crap--that's fantastic!!

  • DKeys

okay cool! I'll have something in the mail to you within the next couple days. I'd even fold the money into little origami cranes if I knew how to

  • DKeys

I see what you're saying. This is what the blurb says:

Dkult was originated by DeVillo Sloan. It is a cult devoted to the worship of trash and dedicated to the creation of trashpo. Members of All Things Trashpo are automatically considered DKult members, unless they exercise their 'opt out' option. Check the box at the bottom of your signed Faustian deal contract.

  • Bruno Cassaglia

Ciao come stai? un abbraccio , bruno

  • vizma bruns

Shrimp? Bah, it's a prawn!! Shrimps are bait!!

Did you find any octo-moisturiser? Be really careful not to use too much!

  • Carina

    Nice, thank you, BF!!

  • Jay Block

HI Father,  postcard came in, happy Tet to you to.  Will look for stamps.  Have a envelope of stamps heading your way today, Invisible Cities. j

  • vizma bruns

Oh man, I'm starting to save the stamps now, cos I'm running low! I've even been photocopying them and making fakes!!!  They look shit though. Did you say you sent me some rubber? Eek, I hope it didn't get lost...must be because you didn't give a godly ETA date...?

Now, about the prawns, they are the best food!! Not bait! Only shrimp are bait-get that strait!

  • Jay Block

Stamps arrived via Mussolini Special Delivery... funny how your stamp looks real and the 'forever' stamp a knock-off.  Many Thanks

  • Jay Block

I shall do that, currently the state of mass is in lockdown due to coming inclement weather...will repost with stamps an description monday...thank you again for sending them..j

  • vizma bruns

Ah, phew, the rubber didn't end up in the dead letter office then! So glad! Thought they may have ended up with Dustin's condom!

I have to confess, I've used some of the lovely stamps for my own selfish needs, sticking them on my diary, address book, journal, toilet, cat, etc... I promise the next lot will be used strictly for mail art.

  • Suus in Mokum

Good to hear it arrived! Thank you for letting me know, Father.

  • DKeys

I won't even know your real name as I'm not really fastidious enough to check the account. I look at the numbers and that's it:) But if I do somehow, your secret is safe with me and you will always be Blessed Father to me. I would like to see what they would do if the check went to BF. This second stamp is great--you really did nt have to but I appreciate it nonetheless!

  • Suus in Mokum

Do you mean this one? Then the answer is yes.

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

    Alright, brother! I can't wait.

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

Yeah! I have gotten that one, I just need to blog it!

  • Suus in Mokum

Thank you, very kind. It is an original. The lines are with oily pastel and the colours with watercolours. Suus

  • Donald Kolberg

I am new to the world of artistamps. How is it possible to get one of these remarkable treasures

  • Nadine Wendell-Mojica

So I hate computers. I accidently pushed some hidden button that sent that to over a hundred people. Ridiculous. Sorry. Hope I didn't 'out' anyone other than my bestest girl Alicia. She knows I'm an idiot and still cares if I live or die.

  • Donald Kolberg

    no I was thinking both

  • Jay Block

Glad that you like the stamps, I think they are fun.  Yes, I buy blank sheets that are gummed and perforated, then work from there.  You are lucky to have perforator, that is cool.  To answer how, I scan the blank into Photoshop, grid the project off so that I have a rough idea where things should fall.  There is always a lot of fussing regards to positioning, each printer has a mind of its own.

I've been traveling this week, so was unable to complete the post on you last batch of stamps, will get that up, next week.

    thanks j

  • Jay Block

Your mini sheets are gorgeous and the perfect size.  Was wondering where they came from.  Thank you for the offer, really generous.  At some point I want to do a triangle stamp, but do not have the images in my head yet, if it comes about, will certainly think of you.  Many thanks

  • Jay Block

I remember those stamps in the 90's, blue and red... cannot remember the images, but thought then that that they were beautiful.  USPS did some nice work in the 90's, minerals, spiders, the first of the comic book heros.  Someone who was doing the pick and choosing had an eye.

  • Jay Block

I order my stock from http://www.wcp-nm.com.  You can see what they offer in sheets.

  • Oh Boy

Hi Rick, It has been a long time since we have exchanged anything. I am still in contact with E.Z. Smith. He retired from mail art and gifted me his entire collection of rubber stamps. He is on Facebook. Oh Boy!

  • Donald Kolberg

    very cool

  • DKeys

Can't wait! hopefully by then the check won't bounce:)  I have wanted a stamp like this for years--you have fulfilled a wish. enjoy your weekend:)

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

I just got it!!! It's here.

    Thanks!!!

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

Yeah! Just take pictures!!! Any way to show the mail. I used to use my boyfriend's cell phone for pictures before Stephanie sent me a scanner.

Oh, and I completely forgot to blog the TET postcard. I'll add it to the one I just did.

  • vizma bruns

Wicked photo! I can see now why you've been too busy to get to the PO!! AAHa ha!

MORE rubber for me? WWWEeeeee and yippee! Just luuuurve rubber stamps!!!

Have you sent any of your images to Ryosuke Cohen for the Brain Cell Project? It's a treat to get his A3 posters of so many rubber stampings.

  • Carina

No, not yet! Hopefully this week...

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

Yeah, I can do that, BF!

  • taidgh

Thanks BF for your post, just got it in the door this morning. Wonderful and I love the stamps as well. You should be hearing from me soon!

  • vizma bruns

Rubberstampmadness?! Never even heard of the mag! Gee, I'm glad you're here and teaching me stuff! Googled and found it. This is an image I particularly liked! So you did this colour stuff too? Gee, you are a master stamper! (and there I was suggesting Brain Cell...) der. OH SHIT, I quickly looked away from the comment below...I think I just saw the most divine stamp on this earth! But I won't look anymore, gee you really are a bless- ed thing.

I looked up EZ and had a laugh there...very cool. Any more holy rubber teachings will be greatly appreciated.

But BF, I don't know why you send me photos of your Mother...I'd much rather see a man's arse.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Yes, some great & funny stuff here.  I love the cold chicken photos.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

PS Don't listen to Vizma, keep the Blessed Mother photos coming. Do you have one of her running with scissors?

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing a pair ...  of scissors.  You're outragious!
