Welcome to IUOMA, Stephen. If you have any questions or concerns about the way mail art exchanges work here, let me know and I'll be happy to answer them. Cheers, Bifidus
Stephen, in reading your profile information I can asure you, this is the very place to be in. Please accept this friendly welcome to The Eternal Network from a celestial mail artist coming from a heavenly corner of the faraway Universe called Republik van Patland. A perfect start here is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other when you decide it’s the right time for you to start trading art. If it’s the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:
The Celestial Scribe Caixa Postal 24827 Curitiba-PR 80510-970 Brazil
II look forward to see your piece in my terrene mailbox. Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is nothing less than a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.
Hi Stephen, the situation in Africa is sooo terrible it does not surprise me that so many African elements trickle in my dreams. I have adopted a kid in Uganda, meaning I pay the bills for his education. He is one of these former child soldiers and gets now a second chance in life. Second, maybe it is more. Sometimes these programs work, sometimes they fail. My first kind returned to the looting, murdering and raping rebels of monster Koni but I refused to give up, so adopted another boy.
Stephen - your piece arrived safely - it's great - lot of work in it. You asked about Nobby Beach - it's about 45 minutes drive from us - one of the beaches south of Surfers Paradise & between Mermaid Beach & Miami (yes, we pinched the name!). Thank you - Chris
Thanks for feedback. The recent collage THE ANATOMY OF THE FOREST is also an anatomy of a bird, cornered and slaughtered by my 2 cats, did a burial ceremony in my garden.
Stephen. I answered to your message of yesterday just minutes ago. When I went back to the main screen after the "send" button, at that exact moment I received your advise of arrival. No words, no nothing. As you said sometime ago: "IUOMA is a great place to be"
Stephen: 1.- It was sucha a privilege to join your family this weekend. Mom would love to hear it!!! 2.- Ask your father to visit Curitiba at www.curitiba.pr.gov.br. The home page shows a green tag where an english version button is available. 3.-Send a regular e-mail to celestialscribe@unipazparana.org.br I´ll send you a file with the IUOMA logo and then you bring the file to someone who produces commercial rubber stamps. :-)))))))))))))))))))))
Stephen, Curitiba, like what you said about IUOMA "It´s a great place to live". The bus system is something to write God about. I use bike as my mean of transportation. In addition to my personal use, I´m part of an organization called BikeAngles, who helps people who wishes to satrt using bike as urban transportation. I´ll send you some celestialities on a separate e-mail.
Hey Stephen, I got your GREAT m.a. today! I Love this envelope! Am I suppopsed to open it? It feels like there might be something inside, but I would hate to ruin it! LMK please...
Ah, good news - I really didn't want to mar the beautiful work! btw, I love Falling water/FLW (I have those stamps also ^_^) I'm getting a little reply mailing together for you now, and writing you a letter about FW...
I sent the card & letter yesterday I mentioned below as a brief gesture of reply - a "place holder," if you will. I want to do something to/for you in particular, but have a deadline to attend to at the moment. Pretty soon/a few weeks...
Thanks a lot for your wonderful and very personal mailart! It was very special to me to receive it! You do a great job there in IUOMA and in our mailart world.
Thank you for the great photographic collage "walk through nature encrusted with a plethora of environmentally themed vintage US postage stamps". The Post Office felt it necessary to cancel each and every stamp!
