Stephen, in reading your profile information I can asure you, this is the very place to be in. Please accept this friendly welcome to The Eternal Network from a celestial mail artist coming from a heavenly corner of the faraway Universe called Republik van Patland.  A perfect start here is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other when you decide it’s the right time for you to start trading art.  If it’s the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

    The Celestial Scribe
    Caixa Postal 24827

    Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my terrene mailbox.  Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours.  This is nothing less than a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.

    From Saha Khosravi, Iran

More than meets the eye, fusion of tears between men and tree but why?

A bird fell from his nest!

Hi Stephen, the situation in Africa is sooo terrible it does not surprise me that so many African elements trickle in my dreams. I have adopted a kid in Uganda, meaning I pay the bills for his education. He is one of these former child soldiers and gets now a second chance in life. Second, maybe it is more. Sometimes these programs work, sometimes they fail. My first kind returned to the looting, murdering and raping rebels of monster Koni but I refused to give up, so adopted another boy.

    Hi Stephen,

Collage on Africa from my Belgian friends Robert Varlez and Jo Hubert.

Title is THE CAGE. Robert was and still is my art mentor!

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Yes I would, Stephen, thank you very much --

  • Guido Vermeulen

    Hi Stephen,

Continue to work on «Africa», made 10 collages 2day and 2 have African links:

Dear Lumumba, where are your teeth

Home, tribute to Toni Morrison and René Magritte

Both are commented on the Art and Lit group on IUOMA and my LAMUSAR blog

Stephen - your piece arrived safely - it's great - lot of work in it.  You asked about Nobby Beach - it's about 45 minutes drive from us - one of the beaches south of Surfers Paradise & between Mermaid Beach & Miami (yes, we pinched the name!). Thank you - Chris

  • Bifidus Jones

    Hi Stephen,

Glad my piece arrived safely and I'm glad you like it. I use an elmer's glue wash most of the time to seal everything. Cheers, Bifidus

  • Guido Vermeulen

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks for feedback. The recent collage THE ANATOMY OF THE FOREST is also an anatomy of a bird, cornered and slaughtered by my 2 cats, did a burial ceremony in my garden.

Stephen.  I answered to your message of yesterday just minutes ago. When I went back to the main screen after the "send" button, at that exact moment I received your advise of arrival. No words, no nothing.  As you said sometime ago: "IUOMA is a great place to be"

  • Nancy Bell Scott

Thank you for the great photographic collage "walk through nature encrusted with a plethora of environmentally themed vintage US postage stamps".  The Post Office felt it necessary to cancel each and every stamp!
