A need to create but keeping it all achievable - will be keeping to postcards - couldn't really cope with anything larger. Am a bit overwhelmed by all the ARTISTS & not sure if I will ever be able to put myself in the same class.

Im in Perth and we've been in drought for a few years now. I hope to do some more mail art this year. The project that I have going at the moment is this one: http://iuoma-network.ning.com/xn/detail/2496677:Event:302611?xg_source=activity
I am pretty sure that this wonderful postcard that I received in my PO Box today is from you. I checked out your website and the technique seems to match. I want to really thank you and let you know that I can't stop touching it. Thank you. <3
hi Christine here is an invitation to pARTicipate in the SECREt eXCHANGE exhibitions...pass the invitation on to your friends, and let me know on my page if you will or won't be able to contribute; for details, go to IUoMA Events...or click on the link http://secretexchange.yolasite.com/
Greetings from California! Love the work you've posted. So interesting and beautiful. Will send you something inferior from here in hopes that you'll take pity and send me something that's fallen on the floor. I once got a card that looked like these from Australia with a photo of gas prices and Y2K. Was that you?????
SOOO IT WAS YOU! That is really interesting. It was one of my first cards and it was such a trip it inspired me. Just my kind of thing. I'm working on something for you right now.
Thankyou Chris for the beautiful surprise I received today! Flood art, wow, I love the mirror image effect, was that a tiny kimono? I'm glad you can turn a ruined artifact into something positive, sometimes my biggest mistakes become my best pieces! I like your window piece too. And reeeally like 014. So simple but it's genius.
Thank you, Chris, for the super great "flood art" card that arrived in Greece today! #70 of the 365 project? Go, girl...you will complete "365" one day and it is a fun journey!
I blogged your card along with Mim Scalin's. Great art! Thanks!
Thank you very much for the Flood Art I received today! I love the idea of making art out of something that concerns your whole nation. All the best to you from Finland! -Hanna-
Oh Chris! That's so horrible! I'm glad my little mail art made your day, at least a little bit.
I'm wishing you all the best for 2012, and hoping that the batteries from your camera leak all over the thief's hands and melt them! A bit drastic but, hey, karma and all that!!
Auchenflower huh? I spent a little time there as a youth, had some friends there. I went to high school in Sunnybank, on the south side. But gee - that was a while ago!
That is why I love mail art, I can commit to get it done, because they aren't very big. I prefer postcards, I find ATC's a little small, and forget inchies!!, They look awesome in a collection, but I cant seem work that small.
Are you on swapbot? There are lots of quilting swappers on there.
I was just looking through my photos and found your mailart along with another guys, in an unmarked file which I hadn't noticed...how rude of me!!! I'm uploading it right now!!! So sorry, hope you didn't think I was an ungrateful bitch!!!!? :-((( Hope you'll accept my apologies!
I'm glad you like the Hydra :) and yes it is a lino-cut too or to be more specific one of the two proofs I printed and then added more color to by using felt pens in different shades of blue. I wrote about it on my blog: http://thepublicpostcard.wordpress.com/2012/03/22/hydra/ .
And I also wrote a post about the wonderful flood art you sent me:
I'm sorry that it took me so long to reply after receiving your wonderful Flood Art! I am usually so organised, but your name flew off my list at some point! I promise to do better next time! ;)
Hello Christina! Got Mail Art #197! Thanks a million for your beautiful and welcoming postcard. It was a wonderful surprise. You should be hearing from me soon. Have a great day ;)
Hello Chris - so glad the birdie arrived. Did she get there safely? I gather her tail survived the journey (!) but I'm interested to know whether the rest was ok as it's the first time i've sent such a fragile postcard that far in the post. :>)

Hi Chris! That IS good news! I can't believe you got the camera back!
I've decided to keep 2 diaries this year, one just for art! Mostly so I don't forget to send mail art back to people! How's your 365 going?
