Glad it arrived at the right time! I have spent soooo much time in the dentist chair - well lets just say I have had 13 root canals so . . . . nuff said! Take care and hey, try one of the mixtures - you never know it might be an old family secret recipe! k

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Bonsoir, Gail! A double goodie from you today -- an amazing Barbie-meets-Elvis collage, AND a Valentine Card. How very kind of you. I bet you didn't know that elvis lives in the next village -- I'll show him your card when I meet him for a beer at the weekedn; i won't share the card with him, 'cos that's ALL mine.

I'll send you something back soon.

Bestest, Val (who also says thankyou dfor describing your collage technique and materials. I often wonder 'How on earth did someone put that together?' and now i know. And for that you surely deserve a Valentine's kiss from valentine -- voilà X).

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Bonjour! Well, there are all sorts of weirdies living in Paris, and Jim might well be amongst them. I did visit the cemetery  where he is supposed to be buried once. I'll pass on your greetings to the King when I next see him -- Janis and Brian Jones might be joining us for a drink this weekend. Is Barbie still alive and well?

    Regards, Val

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Barbie: join us in the bar at 21.00 on Saturday. I hope Michael J will be able to join us this week. Regards from the King

  • Austin Wills James

    Gail,

If you'd like I could send some pieces from my Shoebox O' Collage cuttings, relating to Rap music.

  • Austin Wills James

Oh, you wouldn't need to send me anything. I just keep collecting things for collages, & if someone needs or wants images relating to a subject matter I can help with, I'm more than happy to help out. :)

    Gail,

I stopped by the post office this afternoon & got that magazine headed your way, it shouldn't take too long, being in-state & all.

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Thanks for the offer of collage stuff, Gail! I can't think of anything (besides $100 bills) that I really need now. let's exchange some musically-themed Mail Art...and you can share it with your kids. If I were 11, I'd rather look like a Beatle than an M&M. In fact I'd  rather look like anything than an Enigma.

I hope you're not cruel to your son and MAKE him have his hair cut.

    Bestest, Val

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Bonsoir Gail! Many thanks for the Tina Turner and UFO cards. I'm glad you and your son liked the latter. I do wonder though, if aliens got to you and forced you to change your name to 'booboo-babies' -- something extra-terrestial, orseriously alcoholic, must have induced you to choose a monniker like that, Monica. I like Tina T to, and wonder how she can manage to look so good, sing so well, and move so beautifully now that she is in her 70'?. Perhaps its because she escaped Ike's Evil Influence....

I'll be sending you something back soon.

    Thanks again, Val

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Thanks Gail, Hope that your teeth are doing well. here in Europe we wear flippers on our feet when we go snorkelling, etc, and i don't really see how you could put them in tyour mouth, but nevermind (and please DON'T send me dental surgery photos: I'll be ill!).

I don't know Toddlers and Tiaras, and have no idea if it's on TV here or not. I only watch sport on TV (and not much of that) as, in my opinion, 99% of it is absolute and complete rubbish. I suspect that T&T would, in my opinion again, fall into that catgegory.

Thanks for the booboo explanation. Other people, receiving 2 surprises like that might go Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! And then AAAAAAAAAAaaagh Not Again!

    Regards, Val
