I've sent something to each of my friends as I get them but they are mostly international and mail seems to be very slow to get there so everyday I have an empty mailbox which saddens me a little. Maybe you could send me something good so I can smile at my mailbox and I promise to return the favor. Happy New Years!
Greetings De Villo Sloan !!! Snovym year you once again!! Thanks big for coment and interest to my works!!! Duccio came not by usura
nor Pier della Francesca; Zuan Bellin’ not by usura
nor was ‘La Calunnia’ painted.
Came not by usura Angelico; came not Ambrogio Praedis,
Came no church of cut stone signed: Adamo me fecit.
Not by usura St. Trophime
Not by usura Saint Hilaire,
Usura rusteth the chisel
It rusteth the craft and the craftsman
It gnaweth the thread in the loom
None learneth to weave gold in her pattern;
Azure hath a canker by usura; cramoisi is unbroidered
Emerald findeth no Memling
Usura slayeth the child in the womb
It stayeth the young man’s courting
It hath brought palsey to bed, lyeth

N.B. Usury: A charge for the use of purchasing power, levied without regard to production; often without regard to the possibilities of production. (Hence the failure of the Medici bank.)
My arm & hand are slowly getting better, my handwriting is improving. I've been managing some collages lately, hopefully the painting & drawing again are not too far off.
Amici cari ,scusate se non rispondo sempre , ma non so l'inglese , e usare il traduttore diventa complesso... io preferisco comunicare con le immgini... vi abbraccio . Bruno
Thanks for the maybe miraculous Elgin Shroud shred and the nice welcome to the IUOMA. Nice surprise and perfect timing too! I could definitely use some life changing activity :)
A friend of mine in college had a Cry-Baby that I just absolutely loved. Unfortunately our house was burglarized back in August, so I'm currently without any means of recording, except plugging a vocal mic into the PC (which is in no way ideal).
My mother got to see Hendrix twice, but always had a huge crush on Clapton (since his days in the Yardbirds). She actually got to meet him at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony for my Grandpa, at which point he went on & on about how much of an influence my Grandpa was to him, Mom was completely stunned & speechless. (Sorry for rambling, that just still cracks me up.)
My Dad always refers to Ginger as one of the "Perpetual Motion Drummers" of the 60's, the other being Keith Moon, of course. I have gotten to see Clapton live, it was about 20 years ago, but one HELL of a show! Alas, "Tales of Brave Ulysses" was not in the set, "Sunshine of Your Love" & "White Room" were though.
I plan on getting together with one of my oldest friends & goofing around with his music gear so that I can include some 'Texas Art Rock' CDs in my mailings.
I'm familiar with Blue Cheer. My parents always gave me grief about knowing "their" music better than they did. That was my teenage rebellion, listening to their albums at full volume, I mean really, how could they get mad about that? <smirk> It wasn't until Pearl Jam came along that I actually started listening to newer music. Up until that point it was just The Beatles, Tull, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, Arlo Guthrie, CSN, Cream, Blind Faith, Country Joe & the Fish, The Who, The Allman Brothers, etc. :)
Just to let you know that I received the DK-cult kit you sent me. It is brillant and I am still laughing. Great job! This is major, and it will take me awhile to get my blog together for this one. Not to mention the 32 objects that need scanning. Thank you again, and I am really proud of you son for sending something out. Hang in there! Love, Dad

I hope you're kidding! Will try to back up using this new-fangled thing I got 3 years ago. No email came to tell me you wrote me a comment--I only saw it by mistake. Will you write Ruud too? It was bad not getting emails, but the avalanche that has started might be worse ...
Hi, Somewhere I saw a message from you on the 9th of May but now I can not find it. Anyway I found two nice homes for my Shroud, KDJ & Katherina. I can't find the key for the cage I put it into, so decided to send the whole cage.
Superb! I also received your mail. In the process of catching up with the documentation, as life has been quite busy with....well.....partying. You understand, right?
Loved your post, so into everything on your page too.
It's been a DKult kind of day...a contract from Diane, tats from KDJ and a portable shrine and some awesome cerealism trashpo holism from you. No doubts...I'm in, now to absorb it all, thanks you :)

Anytime! It was included on the original Japanese release of 'Ten'. I'm a HUGE Beatles fan, but I think PJ did a great job with the song.

Our tickets for the Xmas run in San Francisco arrived the day Jerry died... :(
I've seen the rest of the group together, with Bruce Hornsby on keys, doing the majority of Jerry's vocals.
My first non-country music concert was when my mom took me to see Jethro Tull in 7th grade.
