Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: Letter writing has always been something amazing but I found emails were taking the place of all the letters I use to write. When I discovered that I was limiting myself with emails I became very interested in making Mail-Art. I have loved doing Mix Media Art but now I can expand it to the Snail Mail World; which makes it a lot more fun.

It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.

I collect all sorts of things -- and even wrote two (self-published) books about them -- but not socks. What is it that makes a sock unique? Unique to or from what?

YOUR ART IS FREAKING AMAZING. :O Seriously. Do you do it digitally? I love "scrapbook"-ish art, and yours is so creative and feminine. In short, I'm in awe.
