Hi Eduardo, interesting work as always. White noise - disambiguation - used in music recording - you probably know that - also in corporate buildings to create work spaces for maximum efficiency - artificial light, processed air, processed sound. Found a wik thing not too helpful

you can see it in TV static,

hear it by playing a data CD on the stereo.

very cool stuff.

pink noise is white noise with a low pass filter.

same thing, more bass.

i coded Blum Blum Shub Cryptographically Secure Pseudorandom Number Generator using GMP several years back; i've spent a lot of time thinking about randomness before and since then - i've used it for many applications, including creating pictures like this:

as well as running through a dampening filter to create synthetic ocean wave sounds. ;-D
