Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Wow. Have I really been sending mail-art and postcards for over a year now?! Anyway, I love the idea of making something and sending on to someone else. I also think some of the group mailers have been loads of fun and a great challenge.

I honestly think we don't use our postal service enough these days.

Just got your wonderful Valentine today- Thank you!  You make my mailbox smile too.  How did you transfer the photo onto the clear sticker?  Very cool piece!
  • David Stafford

    Louise,

I had so much fun making the valentines. Each one has a story about some imaginary aspect of postal history with a valentine slant.

For some cool blimp pics check out the library of congress archives. That's where the image on your card came from.

Happy Valentine's day! Glad the card arrived, via Valentine Hermann's Postal Boutique. He's the one to thank, for jump-starting us into action! :-)

If you send me your email I'll send you (absolutely free with no obligation) the entire suite of Valentine cards with pictures and narratives. wormguy@cybermesa.com

They mean just slightly more when seen in the context of a musical piece.

I am glad you enjoyed that card. Timmy's should be on all road maps in my opinion. Although I do have a nose for it. I can always spot them on a road trip. Some even have cold stone ice cream in them now! Amazing...

Somehow I missed your comment back in February; I'm glad you liked the piece I sent. Tell your government to give the postal workers what they want; we don't have time for a strike; the art must go on!
  • andytgeezer
