Oui, Monsieur Sammitch....'tis indeed slang for sandwich, whether it be as fancy as turkey on croissant or as simple as bologna n cheese:) Either way- bread looks fabulous on you! Just don't forgot to cease wearing mustard after labor day.

I confess, I am that man - delighted that you like the book. I am looking forward to creating and exchanging some art of my own with you.
  • Judy Lazarus

Hi Val, I am going to begin my first "mail art" creation for you today. I assume the only requirement is the artwork is the actual envelope, or postcard? Please clarify if I am wrong.I have made ATC cards and artist journals but not mail art, so here goes! Thanks for being my mentor-any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Judy

Sadly, your picture is a full-circle of emptiness!  I love a good sandwich, but I'd always prefer your wacky hats and smiling face.

I may have streched the length it took to drive back home by a few hours. Thankfully we broke up the trek into a few days, stopping along the way to see friends. Nova Scotia was great, really great. I will make sure and send you a few cards from China when I get there. But before I go I'm going to have a marathon "making stuff" day.

    Hello,

Sorry for the late response. I would love to start sending Mail Art to you. I will try and send something out by the end of this week. My address for the next 3 months is 1007 Park Ave, Richmond, VA 23220. I will be moving to New York City in September so I will send you a new address. How did you get started with Mail Art?

    Best,

    Jordan

  • Alicia Starr

Hello Mark. Your card is nearly finished and will be mailed today. Once you receive it, do i then post the photo of it on my site? AND, is it protocol to request cards from others or should i wait until awhile?

Thanks for mentoring me. I am on fire with this concept.

    all the best. alicia starr

  • Alicia Starr

    p.s. your work inspires.

    alicia

  • Guido Vermeulen

    Really Val?

Okay, I'll take your word of it!

Got a great message from a femail friend in the past. She recognized herself in the book of Ann. Oh boy, so the book of Ann is now the book of Inge (hihi)

    G.

  • Alicia Starr

Gracias Val. Your card is almost dry and will be mailed soon. Quick question that i could not find an answer to on the information page: Does the card need to be in an envelope if it is sealed with a coating?

I look forward to getting something back from you.

    thanks. alicia

  • Amy Irwen

wooo-hoo...Miss November it is...!! look forward to future "words" on this adventure...

Also, thank you for pointing me in the right direction with the "msg" issue...

  • Alicia Starr

ahh, this is the reason for a mentor. Your advise is taken with an open mind. Moving forward.

    again, thanks.

    alicia

  • Nadine Wendell-Mojica

Yes! It arrived. I took your comment about publishing before sending and tried to get it all in an envelope. It was such a great comment. I love the suspense. I'm checking your ideas as to how to get into this world through your mentoring my best gal Alicia.

Street art is wonderful. My son (no promotion) is really lovong it. MyNameIsMorley.com I feel it's much the same as this, only no threat of arrest! I think France is perhaps more understanding than US.
