Now what did you mean by that? (said in a playful joking way). I bet you hated using those retarded emoticons (said in a more serious tone while thinking how stupid yet neccessary they are)(side thought to self: they are the only the tip off of body language available virtually). Hope you are well this fine day (said sincerely with no smile on my face but a sort of sad face because I'm tired)
That is amazing! What excellent luck. I have found money on occasion, but I think the most I have found was 5.00. Trashpo turned to Cashpo-let's hope it's a trend:)
I also only want to have fake money and I understood. I will print you some money and send it to you and I can send you some fake Schwitters bills? Or do you want fake van Doesburg shoppinlists or bills? Fake Bennett lists are hard to get here in Germany. And Lehman Bros is like Merz GmbH?
It seems like they would do well in TX. And hit it rich. Then they could rescue me from my life of poverty. Until then, I'll keep sending them money. Do you think they could put together some kind of snake charmer routine? I could find them work here in a second.
Sorta Hole Queen here :-)) Sorta is right. Because, we know that the whole hole crusade started with the Crimson Giant chapter of someone named DVS! The mother ship of holes. Or the father ship, rather :-) Po will never stop, and HoPo sounds good, but... you know my problem with classifying art into very well defined categories and putting a label on it. I think it gives it a one dimensional quality, while most of the time it's got three of four or five... it's like constraining it into a cute little golden cage. What do you think? Delete me if I'm not making sense....
Thanks for the feedback. That was fast! Can't understand how your postal system works, sometimes very fast, sometimes very slow. Sorry, I'm European, I realize that. Your country is a huge continent and sometimes I forget that despite I travelled there twice!
Thanks for the kindness. Glad you like the postcard. Sorry I haven't finished the "Windmills of the mind" project yet, but I had an operation on my left arm and it is slowing me down. I'll have something before too long though. See you in the mail soon - again!
Thanks for the mail you sent me loved seeing it all in person. That McDonald's receipt is so minimal and existential, social commentary at its' finest. Also, your guilt trip worked as I am making you something right now. I cannot, however, guarantee that it will be hypo-allergenic
Got your work in the mail today, thanks so much. It may take me a little time to get one back to you, but I shall.

thanks for the pill.
i'm enjoying FLUXUS more
the more i understand it.
i'm a big open source fanatic,
and i can see a lot of similarities
between the two.
but i feel i am still merely cracking the surface,
and there's a whole world inside, waiting to get out of me.
free as in freedom.

my wife just wrote a paper on Walter Benjamin, and it seems he was onto something similar to FLUXUS well before mail art ever popularized. but like i said, i'm fairly new to it al, idk. but when we discussed it while she was writing, it all sounded so very similar to FLUXUS; it was exciting to me, and got us talking, and she even wound up using a good paragraph or so on FLUXUS art afterwards!

i'm really bad with history and movements and all that,
my wife, on the other hand, is a walking encyclopedia!
she knows a lot more about fluxus than i do,
but everything i have is based in the manifesto
which it would seem is left blatantly simplistic,
and is meant to pull the carpet out from under the aristocracy
and democratize art. am i right?
i then suddenly am very interested in FLUXUS and copyright law.
Hey DVS. Thank you for letting me know. Please include a clause including any roll I have played in it knowingly or unknowingly. I will be happy to sign any documents to preserve the integrity of the movement. It really has been a PR nightmare. I hope this scandal does not haunt us or attract the sandparazzi again!
I think this is great. If this doesn't earn her favor nothing will. I would, however, keep a copy in case there are legal preceedings or is it proceeds? Maybe allegations of emotional damages or assault with sand? We have to protect our asset. Maybe we should look into insuring Marcela's sandpo beach? Did you ever appoint a sandpo attorney?
Funny. I saw it was on and was hoping you didn't miss it this time. I think the subtlety and nuance of it all escaped me. I was also in a tailspin over youknowho and stubbs. I think watching it now would just be a painful reminder. Just let me know how it ends
You really have me wondering now if u seriously liked this movie. I'm flattered the boys thought I could have landed a role like that. I'm also very relieved they are okay. Everything they put me through, I still care. I read intoday's paper about a pig that got stunned with a stun and shot by a trooper in spokane valley WA. Apparently it escaped from a minivan. Glad it's not Stubbs. Maybe it was his absent Dad? Lack of a male role model explains a lot
Hey thanks for the kind remarks - I appreciate them greatly. And thanks for all the stuff you get 'rolling' here with the IUOMA folks too. You make things fun, I like that! Cheers, Test
i've been thinking on the FLUXUS thing pretty deeply.
i propose "FREE ART" as a replacement for FLUXUS.
it is more self-explanatory, and only two extra characters.
i've been trying to fuse some of the ideas of open source and
FLUXUS in my mind since our previous conversations,
and thi jumped out at me. personally, i like it better than FLUXUS.
it's more blatant, direct, and in your face.

most of my thoughts are based in this, which i think MLAAC gave me the link to.
as i said before, i see this as an elaborate way of saying: "Democratize Art."
or more simply, "Free Art." but i really like that free art has a double meaning there,
first FREE ART as in set it free, but second as in, take one, it's free!
with the current state of technology, it could stand in as a sort of copyleft logo.
i'm a huge fan of the GPL and what it's done for software, i'd like to see more liberal copyrighting in art. also, their mentality of "release early, release often" and think i could be applied to art, meaning get stuff out there, even if it is incomplete, a scrap of paper with an idea on it, whatever. get it out there and let people see. don't worry about fleshing it out. RAW IDEAS are more important than finished product.
which is what this is, so perhaps it could make a good start for a manifesto.

Thanks for your words in the book group! Good for newcomers too! But how I understood its to late to send some lettermoney?
But many times my english is too slow, wrong!
Sometimes I am too slow, wrong again!
My english and me, we are most times too slow to understand fast enough what to do!
I send you some Bennett money to top Jefferson?! Or did you wanted the Jefferson shopping list?
