Hi Guido, love your style of art-very fluid almost surreal. Love the envie you made me can't wait to see it in person!!
  • Kyra Matustik

Thanks Guido, where exactly did you post it.I can not find it, sorry I am a bit   amateur with all here, blogs and all perhaps no passion for computer browsing, but waiting for your lovely art here.....let you know dear Guido, enjoy your weekend. Kyra

Hi Guido - how wonderful! Thank you. For the explanation I will have to explore this further. It's almost like working with negative space. I lov e dyeing paper and playing with the patterns that form. Enjoy the week!
  • Valentine Mark Herman

Bonjour Guido! Many thanks for the latest colourdul envelope that I received today; No, i won't be trying this exercise at home...I'll attemp^t it at the local hospital, clinic or whatever. Am I supposed to open the enevelope, Are there hidden goodies inside it? I'll be mailing you something back later in the week.

    Thanks again and regards, Val

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Bonosir Guido! Sorry to hear about your hospitalisation, and hope that things go well for you on the 11th. Horror stories in hospital? That's weird, really weird. I mainly do sudokus when I'm hospitalised, and can check how well I'm doing by how goodly or badly I do at he wretched puzzles. And now...to open the envelope.

    Best wishes, Val

  • DKeys

I love the randomness-it's more intuitive to let the art come to you. I love dyeing paper AND fabric because the patterns emerge on their own. I'll be experimenting more with this as I hadn't thought of starting with wet paper. Would love to see a demo of this. I have a rather limited ink selection which is why I love tea/coffee dyeing. It can be hit or miss with me. Sometimes it comes out unexpectedly great and other times the color combos just don't work and it's back to the drawing board. Enjoy your day:)

Happy viewing, Guido! Alas, I can't comment on your choice of films/movies as i haven't seen one for over 20 years. the last one i saw was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I read and write books and do other things but watch big or small screens. Regards, Val
  • Annette Dennis

Wanted to let you know how thrilled I was to receive your wonderful painted envelope.  I wanted to thank you with a piece of mail, but am working nonstop for the next couple of weeks on work orders -- I design and produce handmade greeting cards.  But, I will not forget to follow up at some point and thank you very much.

  • with the universe constantly expanding, i don't think we need to worry about that ;-D

Do you Dream in Ochre arrived :-) - FAB!!! Now to prepare a suitable reply - THANK YOU Guido - a visual delight :-) - AND it mostly arrived in tact - thats amazing. Do YOU dream in ochre?
  • all and any zombies are highly appreciated!

not sure what the dadaist poetry thing is,

i'll have to look it up.

not sure why wikipedia would be a bad place?

wikis are extremely editable on a mass scale,

it would seem to me to be a perfect place for

    a collaborative poem!

that and it's all under creative licence to begin with!

    what more could you want???

besides, i think wikipedia is a great example of a collaborative

platform, i expect we'll see other similar types of sites for

collaborative creative projects down the road, not just encyclopoedic!
