Hi, and thanks (belatedly) so much for your gorgeous card! One on it's way to you! Leslie

  • Sharondipity Rutherford

Really, you've been to St. George?  The weather is great right about now.  No snow storms.  Sun and warm.  Today we went to an old Indian site and saw some Petroglyphs.  Nice.

  • Jen Staggs

MIM!  Thank you for the very hip "Color Experiment with Vintage Television Set"!  And I love how you stamp and number your works- very cool stuff!

  • Laurence Roberts

'a story that had to be created by the viewer' - that is what happened for me, looking at your work !

I am starting to think around possibility of making something on this theme. I am keen R. Brachman -and Kafka ! ...

    best wishes

    Laurence

    Thanks Mim for friendship.

No Mim, it has not arrived yet. The snow and Xmas holidays has put everything back I reckon.I looking forward to it. Thanks.

    Maybe arriva tomorrow

  • Rani Solhaug

Mim...I received your lovely piece on the 28th of Dec, just in time for the Holidays! (I have been posting notes on all the 365ers IUOMA page when I receive) and I am constructing my own "mini" REAL wall of all our 365ers that I have received so far. Its really interesting how all of our artistic talents and tastes are more closly intertwined than we know. I have a very strong passion for Eastern arts and culture particularly historical Japanese cinema and I was THRILLED when this arrived in the mail! I'm working on another to send to you soon...

  • Jennie Hinchcliff

How funny that we weren't "friends" before this...
Thank goodness those days are over! (I just "confirmed" it...)
  • K Pannell

Mim - I did get your piece, and I really love it. Seeing things online is not the same as seeing them in real life. Your card will end up on my website in the next week or so - I've been staggering the postings so that people's work doesn't all go up at once and get lost in the deluge.

    Inconceivable, really... :-)
  • K Pannell

I'm glad that you enjoyed Maya Deren (one of the founders of American experimental film who later became a voodoo priestess)

Hey Mim, must admit nothing yet I'm afraid... I've really noticed that the postal service in the UK has been really terrible lately.   I just received a Christmas card that a friend send on 14th December!

Look forward to being more involved and staying in touch :)

  • Olga Pavlovsky L-platebigcheese

Really hope it shows up too!  I'll leave it a surprise for now...  It could well be the storms we had here - the backlog often results in journalists thinking up all sorts of stories for good reading including one about postmen throwing tonnes of mail in the garbage because they're so behind with their work.

I think I will theme the card I send to you in due course "the postman: friend or foe" :)

  • jon foster

I'm glad that the mysetery is solved and I look forward to your mail.

So glad to hear it arrived.  Yes I did notice the
surname in the phone pages... Selected intentionally... Thought it an uncommon name and thought it interesting
.  This was made back around 2002 or 3 just b4 our move across town.
.. Was packed away. Then resurfaced about a year completed and posted to you
just a week ago. I will be posting off an add and return.  No rush... Look forward to more mailart fun.
  • Fast Eyes

Delighted to meet you. Mail will go to Richmond shortly.

    Hi Mim,

You left me a message if #19 had made it to me on Jan 20. I just checked your Flickr page and I had thanked you there on 12/27. I'm not on here (or the Mailart365 blog) often, but you can always find me on Flickr. :)

83b of 365 has arrived! Thank you so much, i love this "minimal" art of yours.

"t" is for "tear papers" like we both do for collage art...or

"t" is for "trip" on a sail boat on unchartered waters...to Ithaca!

Love it, and one coming your way in the mail soon, too!

  • PIRO

Hello Mim! Many thanks for the latest musical mail art and 365 card (no 88). I have just reached half-way in my Envelope a Day project, and no 184 has been safely received (as have all the other 183).

    I'll mail you a card back next week -- it won't be a musical one, but what it will be exactly I don't know right now;

    Hope you are all well;

    Bon weekend!

    Regards, Val

  • PIRO

Gracias Mim. I got the fish today and just enjoying it.  Me gusta mucho.
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

'Glad "Μμ" arrived before you trip! I was never in a soroity either! And I never liked the fact that the area on campus where the fraternities and soroities had their "homes" was called  "Greek" land . Now I really live in "Greek land"!

  • Yvette Jansen
