Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: In 1989 I made my first Mail Art and
I continued for 5-6 years.I have moved from M.A. because at a certain point I felt inadequate. For me it was a diversion and a way to express my artistic side for many of the people with whom I was in contact was something more serious. I could not follow them, so...

My M.A. Call is NO OIL IN ABRUZZO!
It's the fight against the giants of the OIL,they want to destroy one of the most green place in Europe.
What I wrote in my m.a. card is:
THE ONLY THING WE WANT IN ABRUZZO ( IS THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE)IS OLIVE OIL.
It's my way to say NO!

Good to be your friend. And I am glad the mail art arrived so quickly! May they not hurt Abruzza with oil drilling. It is an area for earthquakes and would be very dangerous! Good luck with your project!

May you have success with your Abruzzo project.
During the months of May and June, 1978, seismologists were helping oil companies to research for oil in Northern Greece, there is some but probably but not that much. However, on June 20, 1978, Thessaloniki suffered a major earthquake. We all thought about the people of Abruzzo when the towns had a horrible earthquake recently.
One of the images on my collage card is a seismologist's infared picture of earthquake activity in Abruzzo....the colors reminded me of oil spots in water on the street pavement, isn't it like that?
NO oil for Abruzzo!
