When you have received a IUOMA membership Card, what can you do with it? what did you achieve with it? This also goes for older cards. In this groups visuals and also stories on how the cards can be used.Also visions.....

Sample of how the new 2011 IUOMA membership Card can look like. First cards are sent into the Mail-Art network. I am currious to what mail-artists do with these cards. Do they serve a purpose? Also older stories would be interesting to hear.

The format of the membership card 2011 has also been published on Facebook. From there also some people are starting to print the card on paper. I hope this works in getting a card to every IUOMA member. I am looking forward to see the results. I hope you al understand I can't just send out 1400 cards (paper, envelopesm postage, time). I will do my best to include cards with my outgoing mail-art.

Bonjour!

The first thing I did when got my much-wanted IUOMA card was to loose it! Clever, eh? It fell under my desk, and I turned my whole study/den upside down before I could find it. I even blamed one of the cats for absconding with it, and am still not sure that it was not responsible for knocking the card off my desk and then patting it underneath it.

I have a collection of cards from my previous reincarnation when I attended conferences, exhibitions, company HQs and so on. Now my IUOMA card sits slap bang in the middle of them on one of my bookcases. It has pride of place, and deservedly so.

I am going to incorporate my card in the literature and promotional material for my forthcoming Exhibition, and will wear it on the day of the opening. I'll also include it on my website www.val-herman-art.eu (which already mentions IUOMA) when I can get it scanned.

The cats have been warned about further acts of sabotage.
