you mean like snow snow?  I'm impressed, I thought Australia was all deserts, wombats and discarded lager cans:~)

Well, maybe not snow snow like you Europeans have, but in the hills there was some white stuff falling down!

Birthday Party time at the Cafe :-)

Seems the cafe is closed on mondays.....

But open on Wednesday. Well, late Wednesday for you, Ruud. 

Reading this on Thursday, so that is good. It is still vacation-time......

My internet connection is so slow that by the time this uploads I'll be back in Reykjavik... well perhaps not that slow but nearly. I'm here on the outskirts of civilization for another 4 days then back to the metropolis

Shall I send you snow next winter? We usually get plenty in Maine. :--}

It can snow here on Langaness at any time of the year, today it is raining and about 6 C I just leveled 2 tons of river grit to make a path to the meadow... I'm happy as a pig in...grit!

Ha ha! Sorry, Rod! I think Dan and I are the bad influences in this place!!! But it IS the 25th party year!!

PS. Dan, I'd recommend a nice tequila in your espresso, it's what I have on Sunday mornings, Mexican coffee!

Oh...Go on then! If you insist!  I'll have a glass of Italian red wine please, make it an expensive wine, I have delusions of grandeur.

A month later...and we are back to Tea Time :-)

But but but Kat . . . it's brandy time in Maine.

That was a nice hot BLUE cup of tea that Suus in Mokum sent me...

but they serve Maine brandy here at the cafe...sure, go for it! xxx

They do? Wow. Though since the nice hot cup of tea from Suus is BLUE, there's no question that would be the choice for you, Kat!

There are limits, it's true. I once made blue spaghetti. It wasn't popular.

Yum, home grown snow peas to eat and home grown ruby grapefruit to drink...with tequila of course! Sideways again cos you lot are all asleep on top of the world!!! Nah, my computer hates me...

and folks...the "tea" is  golden honey brown color...

the tea cup is BLUE! "BLUE cup"...of tea, see?

I don't know about the blue pasta though, I've made a sauce with blue cheese, is that what you mean, Nancy? Or did you pour blue curacao on it??

I drink my tea green in a mug with sheep on it and then I put in acacia honey which is... honey coloured.  I once dyed rice green but then couldn't eat it. My new pickled beetroot is both red and delicious:}

Viz, I put blue food coloring in the spaghetti water while it cooked. It worked! And it was ugly! 

Some of my painted book pages are stained with wine, beet juice, brandy, or green tea or pau d'arco tea.

Blue spaghetti, eh? Will have to try that...

but not green rice, Rod! hahaha!

After beautiful chilled blue ice, have a share of my warm dense espresso with a lot of cinnemon and the chocolate thing down at here at the café.
