Super partying! I was along with you gals, "in spirit", right? They say in reports made about us "baby boomers", that we do NOT feel our age, and "seniors" are those kids in 4th year high school or college! ;-)

I have been making "sandpo"...sand poetry.

Is mail art art? I dig it!

It depends how you perceive 'good' when related to any art form. Who decides?  Artists? Art Critics? The public? Time?

It might equally be asked "Is music good?"

Also: Good for Whom, and/or Why, and/or Where, and/or What, and/or When?

(Some Good Music is playing here at the moment: early Bowie. Good for me here, 'cos i lik it, Diamond Dogs, and right now)

Wonderful, I have allergies to tree pollen and I am sneezing all day.

:) Same thing here. I sneeze all day when I get tree or flower pollen. And once in awhile I get an asthma attack. But I'm used to it.

Take care of the asthma, that is hard, here we are getting covered in yellow pollen on cars and everything outside

SPRING!!!!!  Time to get to work in my garden... just one more piece of mail art then I'll put on my rubber boots and take spade in hand.

Monday, March 21. IUOMA mail artist Mim with Katerina in the Tea Room of the Orient Express, Hotel Pera Palace in Istnabul!

IUOMA mail artists, Mim Golub Scalin and Kemal Ozyurt...what a place for a cafe: roof top of Richmond Hotel overlooking Istanbul, Bosphorus and the Golden horn!

Today I spent the day on the streets colecting textures. I'm rediscovering the frottage technique to use as background so I can work collages upon them. :D

It is with great pleasure that I will outline and appeal, which is already available all information in the first Mail Art Call that im organized in partnership with the owner of the historic coffee "Cabana dos Parodiantes  " in Salvaterra de Magos, Portugal.

The Theme is "Planet Earth is a large island with a huge ocean around! "

If you want to participate in the next photobooth book, mail in four photobooth style photos with dialogue bubbles documenting a photobooth performance by November 30th, 2011 to: PhotoBooth Book, PO Box 1424, Jupiter, FL 33468  For quality control, no electronic submissions please - original photobooth photos only - no copies! No returns. Future exhibitions to be announced to participants. Be sure to use the prescribed format - photobooth image size and include dialog bubbles. .

Here at the Cafe, I have switched to drinking  ice tea...under the olive tree ;-)

I upgraded and crossed platforms recently from a PC to a Mac but now my Canon 8000 printer which I'm perfectly happy with doesn't get along with the mac. They fight, they bicker and then produce a lousy print. What printers are people using with their macs that make them happy....The inkjets I've been looking at all seem to have convincing detractors on Amazon. Are there any good inkjets out there for art work that can take a variety of paper stocks? Please advise....

I hope someone let's us know about their compatible inkjet printer for a Mac...I have switched, too, to this great little "white leopard"MacBook but must run to the the pc in the hot city to print out anything. 'Would be nice to go Mac 100%. Someone...let us know?
