Well, I am much poorer but I now have a new laptop and can get online. I do not have my photos up yet but thanks for the drinks, I really needed it.

Good morning sleepy head, I got up at 6 and couldn't even see across the street let alone to the monument, the fog is awful but starting to lift now at 9am. I am going out for a run, through Georgetown by stores which are closed today and this is safest way to window shop.

My spoon is ready, any chance of some whipped cream with it, or should I supply the custard... I'm good at custard.... well I have mastered getting the lid off the tin of custard powder... I have trouble opening the milk carton sometimes but I keep practicing.

All you really need is tart apples - macintosh are the best. It was very good and we finished it tonight

I grew up with a Golden Delicious Apple Tree growing in the front yard, they made excellent pies, cakes, sauces and baked apples for us and all the neighbors

Ít''s been snowing all day here too. Here's two from my front door:

We got 16 inches of snow and finally it is over. It is 28 degrees F with an 18 degree F windchill and yes here comes the wind to blow the white stuff around.
