This oak is probably the thickest oak in the Netherlands and has a trunk circumference of 7.60 meters and a height of 25 meters.
In 1767 the size was 40 palm and 8 inches, which equates to 4.60 meters.
At that time a considerable amount of 275 florins was offered, because two mill shafts could be sawn from the trunk.
On the basis of this data, we can secure the age between 450 and 500 years.
