Ruud, please check if a spammer is getting into the groups and our emails? There is a message about "Vote for my ONU"....with our groups listed. Is it a real mail art project or spam?/

Just sent her a message that she is spamming. She is a normal mail-artists that just wants attention in every group. That doesn't work like that.

In the group a moderator (or owner) can just remove a posting.

Stacy turns out a spammer. They are using false profiles and copy texts from members to fool the moderator. I am watching oit now for more. IUOMA is active and therefore atractive for spammers.

Asking many to "contact" via an email...may have virus attached?

spam going around from Pat Wentworrth concerning weight loss. While emails on having a beer gut may be applicable for the drunkpo group it has no relevance on this site.

Pat Wentworrth has been removed because of spamming all groups with weight loss advertisings.

I just joined the site this week, and the first message I received was from Richeleine Gandon, the same message somebody else stated they received below, asking me to email them because they have something they'd like to share with me. I also believe it to be spam.

Ruth Assin seemed to be a spammer, no connections to mail-art he/she has been removed.

Yes, a spammer for sure. Only 1 hour after she started spamming her account was removed, and therefore all her (or was it a faking he?) postings too. If you got an e-mail too. Sorry for that. Spammers sometimes come through by using a fake (and real looking) profile.

The spammers get clever. One used the name and details of a member and used that to get in with a different e-mail address. I didn't see it at first, and then the new member changed their profilename to start spamming with private messages to several members.... So one member less. Sorry for those who received the e-mail.

for 3 minutes the 'new' IUOMA member Julie Konate was on the IUOMA-group. Discoverd that she is a spammer though. So when you receive an e-mail from julia.konate@yahoo.fr ignore it and mark it as SPAM.

She writes like:
