Gothic/Halloween/Horror Themed Mail Art

I just thought Jorgia that it would have been really cool if you had joined as the 13th member on a Friday the 13th....

Lorinna, I sent something creepy last week as part of a mass mailout but I can't remember if I sent it to someone in this group or not.  So I will come up with something else that is creepy/crawly/halloween or gothic in inspiration.  As for the gothic thing it can be about medieval architecture as well, why not?

Was very much in the mood to create something maybe a little 'darker' than what I normally do... Here is the result:

Lorinna, unfortunately it is not me drawing that,if that is what you mean, I only wish! I found the picture in a magazine that I was going through and ripped it out! No I don't know the drawings of Violette Le Duc, but I will investigate further to learn more.

Maxima, when I joined a few days ago, I noticed it hadn't been active for a while, but I joined anyway.  I love Halloween so I figured I would post.  Maybe it will come back to life, especially as we get closer to fall.

Hi Pam, I noticed that too. I’m just looking for my peeps. I do gothy all year round and look for people who appreciate that aesthetic. Good to know you’re into that. 

Yes, Maxima, like Pam, I joined a little after you. I'm glad you found this group.  I didn't notice it when I initially joined IUOMA. But of course, spooky is my thang. 

Yay, Monster A GoGo, it seems we are both in the right place. Hopefully a lot more people will chime in. 

I do different themes, but I have to say this is my very favorite.

Maxima, it doesn't look like the person who started this group, Alana Schlotter, has been active since 2020. Perhaps you can unofficially adopt the group as its (temporary?) ringleader and missteps of ceremonies?

Good idea. I’d definitely like to get it going again, at least until (or if) the original creator returns. I’m hoping some of the original members are still active on IUOMA and are up for a revival. 

Hi All! I'm still lurking around, in the background - appropriate description for the theme of this group?  I haven't been as active in the past few years as I would have liked because life has a way of getting in the way.  However I do plan on becoming more active, just as soon as my move to a different part of the country finished - hopefully in the next month.  Thanks to all the new people that have joined with an interest in getting more activity happening in the group... Hopefully I'll be able to become a more active member in the fall...
