CIRCLES

Fabulous collage with used postage stamps, enlarged and cut in circles and it works so well.

I posted these ATCs on my Blog today then realized, oh, circles, yes, these need to, also, go in my group CIRCLES!! yes. I made them during the LIVE Instagram CreativeSprint today. It was not based on the prompt, something to do about what's in our brain, but I was on a roll, and kept going with creating with what was at hand on my studio desk.

Thank you. Have been meaning to send you a Circles envelope.Working my way through the list.

I was about to ask for one of those Poetic circle ATCs in trade and lo and behold it arrived tonight. Wonderful end to a frustrating day wrestling with technological snafus.

As a result of spending the morning cutting words and circles out of a magazine about to go into the recycle bin. A very satisfying morning activity on a gray day.

I made another small circle random text ATC today. Very satisfying

Lately Weather phenomena seem to be in the air. Also, the circles have attached themselves to a PIcasso sculture! Oh, no!

Have to watch out for those circles.They are everywhere.

Today was a live Creative Sprint with my daughter and another artist, on Instagram. They were chatting and working off of a prompt given on CreativeSprint on Wednesday. The prompt was to choose a book near you, or randomly, and let that guide you. I chose the book I'm reading for a book club and randomly pick a phrase. I was OH NO what can I do with that but I was hoping to have something come to me. And it did today, while watching the LIVE CreativeSprint. Here's the book and Phrase: El Prisoniero del Cielto by Zafon and the random phrase from page169 "...no vamos a atravesar las paredes ni a comernos los barrotes." One thing I knew is that I didn't want to do a literal/illustrative piece. I'm happy with the results. I'll be sending the postcard to Postcards for Democracy  8760 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069-2206  They'll be doing a digital exhibit and eventually an actual exhibit. This is in support of the USPS. Send a postcard if you feel so inclined.

Had a quiet morning - well they all are sort of, these days, aren't they? Spent the time in my studio altering old postcards found when re-organizing my work table yesterday.

I love this group. I love seeing all the different circles and dots. They make me smile, and don't we need smiles these days?  I may add some more words to these random poems. Or not. I"ll let them lay on my table a day or two.

Love your randoml poems.Like the hint nevpqrtcularly, Ithink because I find the the refrain of the thing of it is peculiar .Have to look into where did this phrase come from .
